Serial # 9668, 32 long rim fire, 2 5/8 inch octagonal barrel, very good three groove bore. This spur trigger revolver was built by Hopkins & Allen in the 1870-90 period for GW Turner & Ross, a large retailer located in Boston. This is shown in their 1883 catalog for $2.75. It remains in very good condition with around 80% nickel showing scratches and a dark patina in areas of loss. Grips show wear, fit well and look great, one side is numbered to gun. This comes with an original Mountain Eagle box in rough condition. The bottom has been glued together with one end replaced. The top has one original end and one original side with the other end and side missing. The top label shows a few scuffs and some soiling. Gun works well. Free shipping.
